Miriam Foundation/Abe Gold Learning Center 
Since its inception the Learning Centre has worked tirelessly in partnership with affected parents, field professionals, academics and multi-sectorial community partners including school boards, rehabilitation centres, hospitals, CLSCs and community-based organisations to further enhance the knowledge of parents and professionals so as to improve the quality of life of persons living with autism or a developmental disability by offering increased and improved opportunities to learn, communicate and participate in community life.

The mission of Batshaw Youth and Family Centres (Batshaw Centres), established under the Act Respecting Health Services and Social Services, is summarized as follows:

  • to provide psychosocial, rehabilitation and social integration services;
  • to ensure the provision of services related to child placement, adoption, adoption disclosure, reunification, expertise to the Superior Court and mediation.

Services are provided primarily in accordance with the Youth Protection Act, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and An Act Respecting Health Services and Social Services regarding the placement of children and youths.

Pavillon Foster is a rehabilitation centre that has been providing addiction rehabilitation services since 1964. Services are free of charge and delivered in English at all of our locations on the Island of Montreal and in the Montérégie. We offer a wide range of outpatient and inpatient programs tailored to fit the individual needs of our clients.

Whether it's alcohol, drugs or gambling; whether you are concerned about yourself or someone close to you, our team of professionals is always prepared to assist you in finding solutions. Our approach is scientifically based but our treatment is applied with a human touch. The Pavillon Foster team has created a supportive environment where individuals can explore new ways of coping with life's challenges and take steps to restore quality, dignity and peace of mind to their lives.

Nova West Island is a non-profit, healthcare organization that offers bereavement support to children and adolescents. While they do not charge for services, donations are always welcome.
